Benefits Calculator – what are you entitled to?

Man filling paperwork

½ð¶à±¦´«Õæ's benefits calculator can help you find out which benefits you could be entitled to. It's free and simple to use and the details you provide are kept anonymous.

How does it work?

Our benefits calculator can tell you if you're potentially entitled to claim extra money. The calculations are based on the information you provide – such as where you live, whether you're single or in a couple or if you care for someone.

Our calculator can give you an idea of which benefits you could claim and how much you could get, as well as how your benefits might be affected if your circumstances change – for example if you increase your working hours or move in with your partner.

Before you start, you'll need to have information about:

  • your savings
  • your income, including your partner's if you have one
  • any benefits or pensions you're already claiming, including anyone you're living with.

What benefits will it check?

Our calculator covers England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. It provides an estimate for many benefits, but for others it can only indicate if you might be eligible. Click on the sections below to find out more.

We can provide an estimate

We can indicate your possible entitlement and give you an estimate of the amount you may receive for the following benefits:

You should treat your results as a helpful estimate to help you figure out what you could be claiming. Our calculator can't guarantee your eligibility for any benefit or tax credit, so please contact the relevant department to confirm your entitlement.
